Three foolproof ways to get hot, fresh momos on the plate.

10–12 min

Steam

Place frozen momos in a lightly oiled steamer basket. Steam over simmering water for 10–12 minutes until plump and glossy.

8–10 min

Pan-fry

Pan-fry in a little oil over medium heat until golden brown and crispy. For kothey momo, add a splash of water and cover briefly.

10–12 min

Air-fry

Air-fry at 180°C for 10–12 minutes. No defrosting needed — perfect crispy outside, soft inside.

A few chef's tips.

  • Don't crowd the steamer — give each momo room to breathe.
  • A drop of oil on the steamer paper stops sticking.
  • Cook from frozen — never defrost first.
  • Serve straight away with our chilli sauce while hot.
